Breakthrough with Vibrations
I feel like I made an important breakthrough from Wednesday and today, regarding vibrations. Where is the place that you are using too much or too little? Always wanting to use less and less, I think I forgot the point of using more. Why use more? Why use less? Riding Jobi on Wednesday, I realized the real use of large vibrations, not in teaching necessarily, but in reminding. In bringing the horse back to focus. Keeping yourself safe on a horse who would rather zone than get into the groove of work. With Scout today too, it resulted in him being lighter, and ultimately my aids being more refined, his mouth quieted and he carried himself, maintained the bend and moved more balanced.
