Taking Time

I was reminded today that I need to take time for the small things. I am so quickly distracted by the big impressive things, like tricks or advanced movements, that I forget the smaller principles of the foundation at times. Take the time, slow down, count. I think about that when I am giving a massage too, as it is easy to get speeding along, but then you have to stop, count, go slow. Notice the seconds as they pass by, rather than the minutes. Time goes by just as quickly, but the quality is different.
