Riding Lessons Unlike Any Other...

Did you know that riding lessons programs can be one of the most lucrative business practices involving horses? This is because the traditional model riding program maintains students for years with little or no progress forward! The average rider never progresses beyond 2nd level dressage movements. The average horse will only make it to 1st or 2nd level dressage before the demands on them physically, mentally and emotionally stall them.

Why? That is a question whose answer is very unfortunate. The average riding instructor has no formal training or prior experience in a teaching environment before they start teaching riding, and most will never achieve any education directly related to teaching and instructing. Since the average equestrian will not progress beyond 2nd level, we can surmise that the average riding instructor has only obtained the skills needed to reach 2nd level but not beyond.

If you have been in a riding lesson before you will be familiar with the presence of common phrases being repeated over and over, such as "heels down," "shoulders back," "more forward," "sit deeper," etc. There is a reason that the quality of horsemanship today is so poor, but not for a lack of investment on the part of students.

This is precisely where Awareness In Riding's lesson program differentiates itself from the 'competition.' We promote riding in such a way that is not endlessly repeating and pushes you beyond the 'average' status (even beyond Grand Prix movements!). Here's a breakdown of what you can find in our riding lesson program, how does it compare with your current program?
